Killer Black Eyewear

Classic Luc Besson film of 1994 Leon stars Jean Reno as an assassin, in killer shades, who looks after his orphaned twelve year old neighbor Mathilda (Natalie Portman) after her parents are killed.  Leon helps her train to take revenge on the killer of her family (Gary Oldman).  The iconic round clear crystal sunglasses Leon wears throughout the film look very similar to Anglo American 400.

Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf?

As we bid Elizabeth Taylor, who died recently at the age of 79, a fond farewell we take a look at one of her most incredible performances as Martha in the film adaptation of Edward Albee’s play Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf. In the film Martha’s husband George was played by Richard Burton.  The character George, an associate history professor, wears retro 50s frames similar to our Retro 1D.
