Selfridges ‘Bright Old Things’ Launched

Selfridges has launched ‘Bright Old Things’ which includes a window designed by Robert Roope showcasing Black Eyewear sunglasses.

Here is a sneak peak but be sure to see it in person (look out for the giant reproduction of Robert’s harmonica in the Central Atrium and visit the BOT’s Boutique)!

We’re pleased to announce that Robert Roope, designer of Black Eyewear, has been chosen by Selfridges for a new initiative, Bright Old Things, to take place in the new year. Robert has been given a dedicated Oxford street window which will spotlight his creative vision, he is collaborating with a designer who will participate in London Collections:Men, Todd Selby has visited Goodge Street to capture Robert in his creative space and Black Eyewear glasses and sunglasses will be sold in Selfridges!

Black Eyewear Launch Party

The launch of the Goodge Street Shop took place Thursday 11th July 2013 and was a huge success thanks to friends and colleagues who joined us.  There were drinks, canapés, live jazz (thanks to Nathan Haines), a competition and of course Black Eyewear glasses and sunglasses!
